Sreeleela bags the lead in Dhruva Sarja's next, Dubaari

. Ever since, there has been speculation about who would be the female lead. Now, Sreeleela of Kiss and Bharaate fame, who has not signed anything new since, has been roped in as the heroine for the film. In fact, fans of the actress were keenly looking forward to see what film she would pick to do next after the Sriimurali-starrer Bharaate.

Nandakishore tells us, "We wanted someone new, who hasn't been paired with Dhruva for the film and Sreeleela was the apt choice as she has impressed the audience with her films so far. Dhruva and she will make a good pair. Moreover, we wanted to promote local talent and she was perfect. We are looking at commencing shooting for the film by January 2021, keeping in mind pandemic protocol."

A few weeks ago, Dhruva had finally cut the long locks and beard that he was keeping for his character in Pogaru. The team, we hear, will give the actor a stylish makeover for Dubaari, in keeping with his character. While Dhruva is slated to begin shooting for the film early next year, Sreeleela, we are told, will join them in February.
