and his team wanted a police officer’s version. Chikkamagaluru is one district where there has been large-scale surrender of naxalites. A lot of them are returning into the mainstream and taking up jobs. I explained that whole process to the film team. There is a voiceover about my perspective on the subject and then the movie begins. While we have interacted with film teams in the past, 6ne Maili is special because it is rife with social messages.
