Yash has bagged the Best Actor award at SIIMA 2019, for his performance in ‘KGF Chapter-1’. The actor looked dapper as he attended the South Indian International Movie Awards, held in Qatar.
Shivarajkumar (Tagaru), Sharan (Rambo 2), Satish Ninasam (Ayogya) and Ananth Nag (Sarkari Hi Pra Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai) were nominated in the category and it was Yash who was crowned as the Best Actor.
Prashanth Neel won the Best Director award for ‘KGF Chapter-1’ while Prakash Thuminer bagged the Best Comedy Actor award for his performance in Sarkari Hi Pra Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai. Best Villain award was won by Dhananjay, for his act of Dolly in the movie ‘Tagaru’.
Archana Muddy, who played the role of Yash's mother in ‘KGF’, won the Best Supporting Actress award. Mahesh Kumar bagged the Best Debut Director trophy while Anupama Gowda won the Best Debut Actress honour for her performance in ‘Karaala Ratri’.
