Sidlingu 2 is a clean, family entertainer, say makers

The sequel of the 2012 hit film Sidlingu, Sidlingu 2 is a “clean entertainer, free of vulgarity, making it suitable for family viewing”, share the film’s makers.

The film directed by Vijayaprasad has been made under the banner of Niharika movies and has Yogi and Sonu Gowda in lead roles. It has been produced by Srihari and Raju Sheregar.
Srihari shares, “The film’s subject matter resonates with the common man. Sidlingu (Yogi)’s dream of owning a car, and the obstacles he faces in achieving that dream, are highly relatable to audiences. Sonu Gowda, as government teacher Niveditha, provides the perfect counterpoint to him.”

He adds, “The on-screen pairing of Yogi and Sonu for the first time creates a unique dynamic. Their dialogues, rich with emotion and camaraderie, are a key highlight of the film. Suman Ranganathan’s role as Andalamma further enhances the narrative.”

The film hits the screens today (February 14) in cinema halls across Karnataka.
