Ators
Yash Shetty and
Siddu Moolimani are collaborating for the first time in a yet untitled project, directed by
Santhosh Kumar, who makes his debut in Sandalwood. The shoot is set to kick start in the new year with a reputed heroine.
Director
Santhosh says, “The film is based on two friends entwined in a love story that has universal acceptance, and is an evergreen subject. Yash Shetty and Siddu Moolimani are close buddies, life throws a challenge, and they have to separate.
The pain of breaking their relationship is one of the high points of the film. One is physically stronger, the other, mentally sharper. There are two major villains who add spice to this tale. The edge-of-the-seat project also touches on contemporary issues and offers a pacy narration.”
Yash Shetty understands the delicate play of friendship, saying, “Friends are bound to have differences. We both train to become cops, but destiny has its own plans - it throws us into troubled waters, how we overcome these situations tests our friendship.”
For Siddu Moolimani, it is a subject he has not done before, “Two friends who are ready to sacrifice anything for each other, but when there is a rift, how they respond forms the crux of the story,” he concludes.
