who are working hard to amplify all requests for help. At a time like this, this week has seen a tough situation being faced by patients who are seeking beds. The wait has been endless and the influencers too are feeling helpless.
Highlighting the ground reality, actress and activist
Shwetha R Prasad
took to her social media page to write, "War room calls on hold. East zone number no answer.
ICU
waiting 6 hours, 1 day, 2 day and still waiting. Not finding ICU and ventilators. Oxygen shortage in hospitals, difficulty in refilling. Until you figure out all these scams, who did what, who made money, people will die. We have lost many already, #needimmediateresponse #bangaloreneedshelp NOW!!! (sic)"
The actress had also tagged many of her colleagues who have been working together to amplify requests and help the needy including
Samyukta Hornad and
Anupama Gowda, who also shared the same message and requested the authorities to look into the matter.
Sonu Gowda, who also shared the message, added, "There might be a delay in response. It is advisable that everyone stays indoors to be safe for now.
