Shubha Poonja ties the knot at her ancestral home

Shubha Poonja tied the knot with businessman Sumanth Billava in a private and intimate ceremony on Wednesday at her ancestral home in a village off Mangaluru. There were about two dozen guests including family and very close friends to witness the special moment. Guests included Shubha's good friend and filmmaker Suman Kittur and her Bigg Boss Kannada housemate, Manju Pavagada.
"Sumanth and I always wanted a simple and intimate wedding ceremony. When he suggested that we keep it to just a few close people, I thought it would be best to have it at my grandmother’s ancestral home as I am very fond of it and it holds a special place in my heart," she revealed.
Shubha took a week off from her shooting schedule for the wedding and is currently still in her hometown, enjoying the break before getting back to work.
