'Kabzaa' might be the world of gangsters led by Upendra who plays the dreaded gangster Arkeshwar but Shriya Saran forms the heart of the narrative. The actress plays Madhumati, the daughter of an aristocrat and Arakeshwar’s love interest.

Shriya's screen time might be limited in the film but what has caught everyone’s attention is her classical number, 'Namaami Namaami' since it was released on Youtube before the release and the BTS video of the song caught the attention of many. The song marks her introduction in the film and emphasizes how her character worships Nataraj. She looks regal and performs Kathak in the dance sequence, which has been choreographed by the National Award-winning choreographer, Chinni Prakash.

Reportedly speaking to a media outlet, Shriya Saran expressed how happy she was to work with Chinni Prakash. Shriya being a classical dancer came in handy while shooting the song. Shriya terms Chinni Prakash a fascinating man in terms of his work and the stories he has to tell. This was the first time Chinni Prakash was doing a classical song and also this was a classical song Shriya was doing after such a long time.

Despite having the worst sinus attack ever, Shriya wasn’t well at all during the song shoot. The moment Shriya entered the set wearing her outfit and accessories and the song was played, Shriya just felt relieved and thanked Chinni Prakash for all the efforts taken throughout the shoot making Shriya comfortable.
