Shrimathi to be released in Telugu

News is doing the rounds that Real Star Upendra’s film Shrimathi, which didn’t have too much of an impact at the BO, will be released in Telugu soon. Starring Upendra, Celina Jaitley and Priyanka Upendra, the Telugu film will be titled XYZ.
Upendra not only has a huge fan following in Karnataka, but is also very popular in Andhra Pradesh. His 2010 blockbuster Super made a lot of money in Andhra Pradesh as well.Now, Uppi is looking to repeat that success with XYZ.
Shrimathi is a remake of the 2004 Bollywood film Aitraaz which had Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. The film is about a married man who is sexually harassed by his boss’s wife. The Kannada remake was directed by Sampath Nandi and had Sayaji Shinde, Prem Chopra, Rekha Rani in supporting roles.
