Shravani Subramanya to release in October?

It's been more than a year since Golden Star Ganesh signed up for the Kannada film Shravani Subramanya, opposite his Cheluvina Chittara co-star Amulya. But according to sources, the much-delayed film will soon be completed and sent for censor certification. "The makers wanted to incorporate a special number in the film. The song will feature Parul Yadav, the star of producer KA Suresh's earlier Govindaya Namaha," says a source.
While Parul's presence in the film was confirmed more than a month ago, the actress is yet to shoot for the song, even though she has made several trips to Bangalore in the interim for the same . "Parul was here last week as well, but she was asked to return to Mumbai the same day and come back early October," adds the source. While Parul is expected to shoot for the song in the first week of October, the buzz is that the film will be released on October 18, with sources suggesting that it will clash with another Ganesh-starrer, Sakkare, at the box office.
