2 will be unveiled on July 12, his birthday. The movie, directed by choreographer-turned-director Harsha, was in the shooting stage when the lockdown was imposed. Produced by Jayanna, the film has Bhavana in the female lead.

Director Harsha has said that he is working on a new concept to reveal

Shivanna

’s character, which will be different. The teaser, which will run for about two minutes, will reveal one of Shivarajkumar's avatars in the movie, without revealing much about the content of the story. Bhajarangi 2 has no connection with Bhajarangi.

The film has 10 days of shooting left before entering into the post production stage. The project was also in the news after a

major fire

broke out on the

sets

which were put up at Mohan B Kere studio, in January. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. More than 400 crew and actors took part in the shoot before the fire gutted a portion of the grand sets. The members of the art department reworked the sets to resume the shoot.

Bhajrangi 2 marks the collaboration of Shivarajkumar and director A Harsha for the third time after Bhajarangi and

Vajrakaya

. Arjun Janya is the music director. J Swamy is the cinematographer and Srikanth is the editor. Meanwhile, Shivarajkumar will also be seen in the upcoming movies

RDX

and Bhairathi Rangallu. On silver screen, Shivarajkumar was last seen in the movie Drona in which he played the role of a teacher. He played the role of a government school teacher. The movie got released in March.
