had stayed away from remakes for a while but he recently broke that record when he worked in the Malayalam remake of the film ‘Kavacha’. Now, it is being said that the actor is likely to sign another remake.
According to sources, Shivarajkumar will be acting in the remake of the
Tamil
movie ‘
Asuran
’ starring Dhanush. Tamil producers have already approached Shivarajkumar to play the lead role, and he is said to be giving it a serious thought.
Shivrajkumar has not acted in any remake after 'Yuvaraja'. After 19 years, he acted in the remake of the Malayalam movie ‘Oppam’. After that, there were many offers for the actor but he did not sign any of them. If Shivarajkumar signs this latest film, he will be appearing in three shades in the movie. The film is already being remade in Telugu under the title 'Narappa' starring
Victory Venkatesh
in the lead.
Apart from this, it is also being said that Shivarajkumar will be acting in the Tamil remake of 'Khadi'. If 'Asuran' is made in Kannada, it will be directed by
Jacob Varghese.
