Shivarajkumar confirms doing 'Bhairathi Ranagal'

Shivarajkumar is well known for playing underworld Don characters since 'Om' days! Director Narthan's 'Mufti' had Shivarajkumar do a special role of a don 'Bhairathi Ranagal'. Shivarajkumar aced the role fantastically with just his body language and eyes doing the talking rather than mouthing powerful dialogues. The character of 'Bhairathi Ranagal' was a huge hit with the masses who are craving a full-length feature film on the character.Director Narthan has said many times in the past he will do a film on 'Bhairathi Ranagal' with Shivarajkumar but there was no official confirmation.
Shivarajkumar right now is busy promoting his blockbuster 'Vedha' in Telugu as 'Shiva Vedha'. In the last few days, Shivarajkumar is very busy giving interviews round the clock and in one of the interviews, Shivarajkumar opened up on the project and said he is doing the film on 'Bhairathi Ranagal' which is nothing but 'Mufti' prequel.
The film will be showing the backstory of 'Bhairathi Ranagal'. The script has been locked and Shivarajkumar has given his nod for the project to go on also. The shoot won't be starting immediately as Shivarajkumar has a long list of commitments to finish off. At present Srini's 'Ghost', Yogaraj Bhat's 'Karataka Dhamanaka', Rajinikanth's 'Jailer', Dhanush's 'Captain Miller', Arjun Janya's '45', Sachin B Ravi's 'Saga Of Ashwathama' and an untitled film with Tejaswi are the films of Shivarajkumar keeping him busy for the year.
The project is on and confirmed by Shivarajkumar himself is a huge boost and happy news for the fans to see their favorite actor in their most eagerly awaited role is nothing but icing on the cake. We have to wait and see when the project is announced officially and goes on floors as director Narthan is also expected to direct Yash's next film.
