Shivarajkumar coll­aborates with Tamil director Karrthik Adwait for a Kannada film

Actor Shivarajkumar’s next film will be helmed by Tamil director Karrthik Adwait. This is the second film for Karrthik, who had previously collaborated with Vikram Prabhu for Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku.
Karrthik says, “The film will be an action-packed mass entertainer. Shivarajkumar is 130 films’ old. With so many films behind him, it is a challenge to offer him a role or character that he has not played before. However, we will show him in a never-seen-before avatar. We have developed the character keeping his onscreen charisma in mind. Shivajkumar really liked the narration and therefore gave it a nod. Apart from him, we also have several interesting characters in the film. We are in the pre-production stage and will finalise other cast and crew members soon.”
Will this be a pan-India project? “Well, it is the producer’s call, ultimately. But yes, we are looking at the film like that,” says Karrthik.
It continues to be a busy year for Shivarajkumar who currently has Ghost, Veda, 45, Karataka Damanaka and a few other films lined up.
