Shiva Rajkumar gets emotional before leaving for surgery in the US; Kichcha Sudeep and Nandamuri Balakrishna visit him at his home

Renowned Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar recently shared that he is undergoing treatment for a serious medical condition. The actor has travelled to the United States for a crucial surgery, sparking concern among his fans and admirers. Now, pictures and videos of the star are making fans more heartbroken, with actors like Kichcha Sudeep and Nandamuri Balakrishna seen visiting him at his home before he flew to the US for the major surgery.
In a recently shared picture on X (formerly Twitter) by his fans, the actor appeared visibly tired. Both Kichcha and Nandamuri gave him warm hugs and presented bouquets before his departure to the US. In one of the videos, Kichcha was seen embracing the ‘Jailer’ actor, which left the senior star emotional.

According to India Today, Rajkumar spoke to the media with visible emotion, addressing his treatment plans and expressing deep gratitude for the overwhelming support and love he has received. The ‘Ghost’ actor revealed that his surgery is scheduled for December 24 at the Miami Cancer Institute (MCI). Shedding light on his confidence in the medical team, he said, “The doctor’s name is Murugesh N Manohar. He is a very famous oncologist. He has a good hand, a lucky hand, and when I spoke to him, he told me not to worry about anything and assured me the procedure would happen seamlessly.”

Speaking about Sudeep’s visit, Rajkumar shared, “Sudeep told me, ‘You will come back just the way you are; all this is nothing for you.’” He reassured fans that the treatment was progressing safely and urged them not to panic. However, he admitted to feeling slightly nervous about staying away from home for an extended period.

The actor further stated that recent medical reports, including heart rate, blood tests, and other parameters, were positive, boosting his confidence and courage.
He also spoke about his plans to remain in the US for about a month and confirmed his return to India on January 26, 2025. He mentioned that his wife, Geetha, and younger daughter, Niveditha, would accompany him on the trip.
Throughout the interaction, Rajkumar was reportedly emotional but expressed heartfelt thanks to his fans for their unwavering prayers and best wishes.
On the work front, he was last seen in Bhairathi Rangal, which was released on November 15. The actor is currently juggling multiple projects, including 'Uttarakaanda', '45', and 'Bhairavana Kone Paata', and he is also set to appear in Ram Charan’s much-awaited project, 'RC 16'.
