Actress Sharmiela Mandre injured in a car accident

Actress Sharmiela Mandre was reportedly injured in an accident near the High Grounds Police Station limits in the early hours of the morning. The actress, was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment where both the actress and her friend were admitted to the hospital's emergency and treated for the wounds. According to the sources at Fortis hospital in Cunningham Road, the actress checked into the hopital's emergency room at around 3 am for first aid, and soon left the hospital after that.The hospital however, registered it as a medico legal case, the details of which were sent to the High Grounds Traffic Police. However, the hospital has refrained from commenting on the grade of the injury sustained by the actress.

According to the High Grounds Traffic Police the accident happened at the underbridge of Vasanth Nagar at around 3 am on Saturday, where both Sharmiela Mandre and her friend identified as Lokesh Vasanth K were injured and went to Fortis Cunningham Road for treatment. The police have also registered a case in Cr.No 17/2020 u/s 279, 337 IPC and 134 (B) of the Motor Vehicle Act and investigating the case. Meanwhile the vehicle has been seized by the cops.
