Sharath to make Kollywood debut as villain

Nearly two years ago, choreographer-director Imran Sardhariya launched one of his protégés, Sharath as a hero in his film Uppu Huli Khara. The opportunity was a dream come true for the dancer-turned-actor. However, his career did not take off the way he hoped for after that. Until now, that is.
The actor is currently on the set of the Tamil film Naanaa, which features Sarath Kumar and Sashikumar in the lead.“After Uppu Huli Khara, I had got a few offers, but either I felt that I could not do justice to it, or the scripts did not appeal to me. I am glad that I have now got this film, in which I am playing the villain. I cannot reveal more about the role at this point, but the film is a suspense thriller,” he says.
