Sharan clarifies his absence at press meet

Whenever an actor is conspicuous of his or absence at any kind of function related to their film, the worst is assumed. Recently, when actor Sharan failed to turn up for the press conference of his film, Neenadre Ishta Kano, there was widespread speculation amongst the film fraternity. Rumours were rife that the comedy-turned-lead actor did not want to promote the film since his role in the film is a comedy track while actor Dhruv Sharma plays the lead actor.
The film, which was completed a year back, was struggling to get a release. It is said that, Dhruv’s popularity post the celebrity Cricket League and Sharan’s new found fan following helped the film find a place in the theatres. It is interesting to see that though Sharan has a comic role in the film, in the posters, he finds the same prominence as Dhruv.
However, Sharan did clarify his absence. The actor had informed the makers earlier itself that he would not be available on that particular day for the press meet. It wasn’t because of arrogance that he chose to give the meet a skip.
