Kasturi Mahal

released their trailer which has enough frights and chills to get them excited. This film incidentally marks the 50th film of veteran filmmaker Dinesh Baboo. The film was launched after the onset of the pandemic and they have already completed the production of the film and are gearing towards the release of the film.

The film stars Shanvi Srivastava in the lead role. This marks her first heroine centric subject in the Kannada film industry and the actress is also happy that she got to revisit the horror genre that marked her debut in Sandalwood. The film also stars Skanda Ashok and Shruti Prakash among others and it has been shot entirely in the interiors of Karnataka and is said to have a compelling storyline.

The trailer shows that the film has all the tropes one would expect from a film in the horror genre and the fact that it is Dinesh's 50th film gives fans another reason to expect more from this film. Incidentally, the film was first titled

Kasturi Nivasa

and it was then changed as the title has special sentiments with fans of late Dr Rajkumar fans. The film had Rachita Ram onboard as the heroine, but she opted out of the film due to date issues. She was then replaced by Shanvi, who is said to have given a memorable performance. The team plans on releasing the film by this year end.
