Shanvi Srivastava says her Facebook page has been hacked

Actress Shanvi Srivastava announced that her Facebook account was hacked on Tuesday. The actress on her Instagram page posted, “Hey everyone, my Facebook page has been hacked since yesterday. We’re trying to recover it asap. Will keep you’ll updated.”

The actress is looking at the option of lodging a complaint with

cyber police

to recover her account as soon as possible which helps to stay connected with her fans. In June, Ashika Ranganath, Manvita Kamath and Vasista N Simha’s Instagram accounts were hacked. Since then these actors have upped the security settings on their social media pages. Even the Instagram accounts of television celebrities like Aishwarya M Baspure and Chadan Achar were hacked in recent times. The Bengaluru City Police have admitted that there is a spike in the number of cybercrime cases since the

lockdown period

. As there is a less room for physical crime because of less movement of people, the cyber criminals have now resorted to online thefts.
