Seetharama Kalyana is not just an action film

Ever since the teaser of Seetharama Kalyana was released online, people have been assuming that it is an action film. But director A Harsha says that there is a lot more to the film than just action. “It is an action-packed teaser, but it’s not like the film has only action sequences. Yes, the fights are on a massive scale, but the most important thing in the film is emotions.In fact, there are only four major action sequences in the film. Seetharama Kalyana is a family drama, which is packed with comedy. This is why we have comic actors, like Chikkanna, Sadhu Kokila, Girija Lokesh, Shivaraj KR Pete and Nayana as part of the cast.
P Ravi Shankar is also known for his comedy, which he gets to do in this film; his character is actually multi-dimensional, as he is serious at times and jovial at others. But nothing is forced and there is no separate comedy track. The film is a paisa vasool entertainer, with heroism, comedy, love, lots of emotion, drama, and twists and turns,” says Harsha.
