Sathish Ninasam features in a promo song that highlights social evils

The long-pending film Godhra -- which stars Sathish Ninasam, Shraddha Srinath and Vasishta N Simha in lead roles -- will now have a new promotional song. The song will be shot and ready in a fortnight, Sathish tells us.

"There is a new song that will be a promotional video for Godhra. This song has been written by director Chethan Kumar, and composed and sung by Naveen Sajju. I will be featuring in this song that will also have montage visuals of the film," reveals Sathish.

About the song, Sathish shares, "It is going to be like Kuladalli Keelyavudo and Kanakadasa's Kula Kula.The song is titled Dhiddiri Dhimmita. It is relevant to all that we are facing today -- major issues like discrimination and other prejudices that affect the middle-class and lower groups. Politicians and moneyed classes are currently taking advantage of the situation, while the rest are becoming victims, either knowingly or unknowingly."

Further explaining the theme of the song, Sathish adds, "It is always the common people who suffer. This song will address qualities like selfishness, class and caste divide, and also be a commentary on all the wrong things that are being faced by people in today's world."
