Sathish Ninasam and Sharmiela Mandre unite for a murder mystery

Sathish Ninasam, it would seem, is on a signing spree. The actor, who has films like Parimala Lodge, Godhra and Brahmachari in his kitty of upcoming projects, has just agreed to be a part of another. To be directed by Arvind Shastry of Kahi fame, the as-yet-untitled flick is a murder mystery that will pair Sathish with Sharmiela Mandre.
According to a source, the film will go on floors in October, with nearly half of it to be shot in London and the rest in locations across India. This, incidentally, will be Sharmiela’s first Kannada film production under her home banner. It also stars Rukmini Vijayakumar in a pivotal role. Sharmiela, whose last release in Kannada was Aake, is tightlipped about the subject, but says that it is not a run-of-the-mill thriller. “We have been working on this subject for almost a year. I play a crime reporter in the film, We are currently in pre-production and should launch the film by the end of the month,” says Sharmiela.
