Saroj Khan compares Priya Mani to Sridevi
National Award-winning actress Priya Mani is on cloud nine, after she was complimented by one of India's ace choreographer
National Award-winning actress Priya Mani is on cloud nine, after she was complimented by one of India's ace choreographer - Saroj Khan. The actress, who recently met the choreographer, was told by her that Priya reminded her of Sridevi of her early days. Naturally Priya, who is a trained classical dancer, is delighted and considers it as one of the best compliments she has ever received.
Meanwhile, Priya has also bagged the item number in the Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone-starrer Chennai Express, which is one of the most awaited films of this year. The song is a south Indian tune, which will be choreographed by Raju Sundaram on the outskirts of Mumbai from February 19-24 we hear.
Priya has also been busy shooting for her Telugu flicks. While she has finished a schedule of Angulika, she began February with the launch of her newest film Chandi, which is a woman-centric film that will be directed by Samudra. Truly, Priya couldn't ask for a better start to 2013 we think!
