Sanjjannaa in Life in Metro

When Bangalore lass Sanjjanaa said that she had signed up for a new film called Life in Metro, many wondered if it had anything to do with Anurag Basu’s Hindi film Life in a Metro. As it turns out, there is no connection between the films, other than the almost similar titles.
According to sources, the Malayalam film to be directed by Kiran Thottungal is a lot like the Bollywood flick Ladies vs Ricky Behl. “Television star Shanu, who rose to fame with his role as Rudran in the recently concluded series Kumkumapoovu, will make his debut with this film. Sanjjanaa will play an important character, akin to what Anushka Sharma did in Ladies vs Ricky Behl,” says a source.
