1. Titular character in

Ranganayaki

: This is an excellent film, and Aarathi's acting has added so much depth to her character of Ranganayaki and the film in general. The way she emotes, the screenplay - everything about this film is great.

2. Arjuna and Babruvahana in Babruvahana: The characters Arjuna and Babruvahana, played by Dr Rajkumar, are excellent. What stood out for me in this film was the two characters that

played and the way they both react to the same situation.

3. Ramachaari in Nagarahavu: This film is very special to me because of the Chitradurga connect, as I am from there. The character played by Dr Vishnuvardhan - Ramachaari - is one of my favourite characters.

4. Veera in Highway: This character is played by Alia Bhatt. The film is excellent and so is her acting. I like the way she finds her voice even though she has been sexually abused. Imtiaz Ali has shown that aspect of her character so well.

5. All the characters in Interstellar: This happens to be one of my favourite

films

. There's no boundaries when it comes to space, time and such in this film. I love every aspect of this film and every character in it. So, it is difficult to choose one character here.
