Sandalwood’s veteran actor Jayamala’s daughter returns to India; to stay quarantined in a hotel for 14 days

At the beginning of the lockdown, all international travel had been stopped. Sandalwood’s veteran actor and politician Jayamala’s daughter, actress Soundarya Jayamala was also stuck in the UK because of the Coronavirus lockdown, just like many others. Now, reports are that she managed to get back to India in a special flight organised by the government but has been quarantined in a hotel for 14 days.

Soundarya Jayamala was all set to head to India and arrived at the London airport, however, that was when the lockdown was announced in India and she was forced to stay back in the UK. Now, the actress has arrived at the Bangalore International airport today morning along with other Indians. All the passengers were taken to a hotel as part of safety precautions against the virus and will be spending 14 days in quarantine in the hotel.
Soundarya Jayamala who has featured in movies like ‘Godfather’ and ‘Paru Wife of Devadas’, has been pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Zoology at the Swansea University. Her mother, Legislative Council member Jayamala, appealed to the government to bring back the Indians stuck in the UK in March. Finally after following all procedures, the government has brought 300 Indians back to India from the UK.
