Sushmitha, 26, has committed suicide in

morning. Sushmitha who hails from

Mandya

has crooned for Kannada movies like Haalu Thuppa and Srisamanya.

It is reported that Sushmitha hanged herself at her residence. It is alleged that Sushmitha committed suicide due to torture by the husband. The singer had got married to Sharath Kumar. Sushmitha had even sent a message to her mother on WhatsApp before she ended her life. Sushmitha’s friends and well-wishers have expressed shock on social media over the sudden demise of Sushmitha. Annapoorneshwari Nagara police have registered a case.
