Sandalwood director Murali Krishna no more

Kannada director and producer Murali Krishna has died on Monday night. The actor was suffering from prolonged illness succumbed to a heart attack. He was 63. Krishna leaves behind wife and two daughters.

The entire Sandalwood industry has mourned his death. Apart from direction, he has also produced movies like Balanouke, Karnana Sampathu, Hrudaya Samrajya, MaraI Goodige and more. Despite being an advocate, his passing towards film making made him to have a longer stint in the cinema industry. His mortal remains are kept for final viewing at his residence in Sahakara Nagara and he will be laid to rest today. Murali Krishna who last directed Gara holds the credit of bringing Johnny Lever to Sandalwood.

Recently, veteran actor Lohithaswa who had acted in over 500 films died to age related illness. In his long career, he has acted in varied roles along with veteran actors like Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan, Shankar Nag and Ambareesh.
Some of his films are Sarathi, Huliya, Jayasimha, Ekalavya, Avatara Purusha, Chakrvarthy, S P Sangliyana part 2, Kadina Raja, Kaveri Nagara, Lockup Death, Marjala, Samayada Gombe, Snehaloka, Geetha, Gajendra and many more.
