Sandalwood celebs share their love for elephants on World Elephant Day

On the occasion of World Elephant Day on Thursday, Sandalwood actors Darshan and Samyukta Hornad, Kavya Shastry, Asha Bhat and more were seen sharing inspiring posts to spread awareness about them.
Actor Darshan shared a lengthy post along with a moving picture about the need to protect them. "World Elephant Day was started in 2011 to protect the elephants from the hardships and threats they face.Happy August 12, World Elephant Day, a social and cultural symbol," read his post.

Director Suni was also seen sharing a post reminding everyone about the day and its importance. Ashita Chandrappa also shared a video from Bandipur State Forest where she captured her rendezvous with the majestic animal.
