Actress Samyuktha Hegde is reported to have gotten injured during the shooting of her film Kreem. When asked about the accident, director Abhishek Basant said that it happened during a fight sequence. Reportedly, the team had insisted on using a body double to perform the stunt, but the actress didn't want to do it. While shooting for the same, she injured her leg and the shoot has now been pushed further.
About the accident, Samyuktha shared, "It's a ligament tear, hurts so bad. I’m just feeling like my pain killer hasn’t come down, or something."
Samyuktha joined hands with debutant director Abhishek Basanth for Kreem, a social thriller that has been penned by writer Agni Sreedhar.About her role in the film, the actress had earlier said, "What clicked it for me was that this story sees me playing a role that you would never associate with me. If I tell you what I play, I’d be giving out the entire story. But what I’m allowed to share is that I’m playing my age, she’s extremely fierce because of the prevailing situations and life just happens to her. The beauty of her life is that she is a survivor. And the best bit is that the story is unconventional and has been penned by Agni Sridhar sir who is known for his immaculate writing."
