“I did begin my acting career early. My first TV show was for DD 1, I was in LKG. Much later, it was the show Putta Gowri Maduve that brought me back into the limelight. Being a part of Kannada Bigg Boss brought immense attention and it’s also the phase I realised that along with the praise I received all these years, one should also be prepared for the trolls,” introspects Saanya.

Of her screen debut, Saanya tells us, “It has been a fantastic experience already because both Samarjit and I were put through intensive workshops before the mahurat. That helped us get to know each other’s working styles. Samarjit is extremely hard working and puts in so much effort into everything. I am like that too and we found common ground to bond.”
