Salman Khan is impressed by Raj B Shetty’s ‘Rakkasapuradhol’ trailer
Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan was blown away by the trailer of ‘Rakkasapuradhol’ starring Raj B Shetty. The Kannada film hit the big screens on February 6.
On Saturday, February 14, the producer, stunt choreographer Ravi Varma, showed the trailer to the superstar during a shoot break. Salman Khan was instantly drawn towards the intense trailer and lauded the makers.
Ravi Varma has shared the video on Instagram, in which Salman Khan is seen praising the team, clearly impressed by the making and its impact. He also enquired when he could watch the Hindi version of the film.
Varma shared the video on Instagram and said, “Grateful to Salman Khan sir @beingsalmankhan for blessing our production venture Rakkasapuradhol, which is now ruling the theatres. Eagerly waiting to show you the Hindi version very soon.”
Ravi Varma, who has been a stunt choreographer across industries, has also worked with Salman Khan.

Directed by debutant Ravi Saranga, ‘Rakkasapuradhol’ features Raj B Shetty in the lead role. The film also features actors Swathishta Krishnan and Archana Kottige in pivotal roles. ‘Rakkasapuradhol’ revolves around Shiva, an arrogant, drunkard cop, entering Rakkasapura, and a series of unnatural manhunts erupting.
Directed by Ravi Saranga, the film's cinematography is done by William David. KM Prakash is the editor. The music for the film is composed by Arjun Janya.
TOI has ranked the film 3 out of 5, and the review reads, “Raj B Shetty’s portrayal of Shiva is the film’s backbone. He plays the character with restraint—never loud, never performative, making Shiva feel painfully real. This is not a stylised mass cop, but a broken man trying to hold himself together while doing his job. Overall, this is a slow-burn psychological thriller anchored by a compelling central performance—definitely a good one-time watch.”Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the latest Hindi movies, upcoming Hindi movies in 2026 , and Telugu movies.”
