'Salaar' Kannada version Box office collection: Prabhas starrer mints ₹2.22 Cr in just two days

The eagerly anticipated action thriller 'Salaar Part 1: CeaseFire,' a cinematic marvel directed by Prashanth Neel, has made a grand entrance into the world of cinema. Starring the superstar Prabhas, along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, and Shruti Haasan in the key roles. The film's trailer, released on December 1st, had already set high expectations among the audience. Now, with its release on December 22, the film has lived up to its promise, offering a breathtaking cinematic experience.
The film's impact on Karnataka's film industry has been nothing short of phenomenal.According to Karnataka Talkies, Salaar is on track to join the prestigious 20 crore club by the end of its current run. It opened with a remarkable Rs 11.65 crore on its first day, followed by Rs 6.65 crore on the second day, accumulating an impressive Rs 18.3 crore in just two days in Karnataka alone.
Remarkably, Salaar has become the fastest Kannada-dubbed film to cross the 2 crore mark. Within a brief period, it has ascended to the 5th position among the highest Kannada-dubbed grossers of all time. The Kannada version alone fetched ₹1.07 Cr on the first day and a record-breaking ₹1.15 Cr on the second day, totaling ₹2.22 Cr in just two days.

As the name of the movie Salaar suggests, the story revolves around the character Salaar, portrayed with intensity by Prabhas.
