Sakutumba Sametha teaser to release today

Will they save the date? The line alone conveys enough that all is not as it should be in this slice of life film directed by debutant Rahul PK. Titled

Sakutumba Sametha

(loosely translated means entire family), the movie is about Suri, who is desperate to wed and finds his bride in Shraddha. She though decides to call it quits a week before the wedding. The two dysfunctional families meet to set things right which leads to egos being hurt and some broken hearts while others are mended along the way. Starring Achyuth Kumar, Krishna Hebbale, Bharath GB, Siri Ravikumar, Pushpa Belawadi, Rekha Kudligi, Jayalaxmi Patil, Shankar Murthy SR and Gowtham Upadhya amongst others, Sakutumba

The movie has cinematography by Karm Chawla and Sandeep Valluri with music by Midhun Mukundan who is still getting accolades for his work in Garuda Gamana

. Lyrics have been written by Chandrajit Belliappa and Nagarjun Sharma. Both Rahul and Pooja who have been involved in the creative process of many films of Rakshit Shetty, are upbeat about this offering and feel it aptly reflects their filmmaking sensibilities. Backed by Rakshit Shetty and GS Gupta, the teaser of the film releases today at 11.07 am.
