Sajid Khan dreams of directing Rajinikanth

Director Sajid Khan, who was in Bangalore to promote Himmatwala recently, says, “I will not be making Housefull 3, nor will there be a Himmatwala 2. My next projects will be all new.” The director, who is a self-confessed fan of the masala films from south India, says, “I try and watch south Indian films as and when I can, even if I don’t understand the languages.The last one that I saw was Eega. I think it was ahead of its times and reminded me of another classic Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. SS Rajamouli is a national treasure and we must respect him.” For someone who is so fond of south Indian films, quiz Sajid if he wants to make a south Indian film and he says, “Why not? All of them are paid more than us at Bollywood anyway.” Does he have any special actor that he wishes to direct, and he says, “It is my childhood idol, the one and only superstar Rajinikanth. I would drop everything for a chance to direct him.”
