Though the cast of Gadhiyara has not yet been finalized, Nagshekar said that he wants to cast Sudeep as the hero and Ramya, Nithya or Shruti Haasan as the heroine. As of now, the director is busy scripting the movie.
Meanwhile, Suraag has started work on composing music for the film. He said that Nagshekar has already given him details of some scenes and situations for which he wants music.
Suraag has been learning western classical music for the last 12 years and is part of a band called Gold Pin. Nagshekar met him when he went to meet Sadhu. He listened to some music composed by Suraag and asked him to compose music for his film. Nagshekar says he is proud to be introducing Sadhu’s son in his film, and has described him as a real talent. He has also said that the sound of Suraag’s music is quite different, and is the kind of music that will appeal to today’s generation.
