S D Arvinda's Jugaari completes 10 years today

It has been 10 years since brothers Avinash SD and SD Aravinda made their debut in the film industry as actor and director respectively. The film focused on a man who comes out of jail and starts a company that changes black money into white, by relying on bylaws that make such changes legal. The film also starred Harshika Ponnacha and B Suresh.

Music for the film was composed by Arjun Janya.Since then, the brothers have collaborated on one other film – Last Bus – a psychological thriller that hit the screens in 2016. The duo, who continue to come back and work together on various projects in different capacities, last collaborated on Aravind’s directorial Mataash – in which Avinash filled in for a few special appearances. Avinash was also the art director for the film.
Post the success of their debut film, there have been occasional rumours about a possible sequel for Jugaari. But that is yet to be seen. Meanwhile, we hear that the brothers have being production work on a couple of films, shows and series that is expected to be released on an online platform.
