Roshan bags another role in Agni Sreedhar’s next film
Athlete-turned-actor Roshan Agni Sreedhar Bachan, who made his acting debut as KK Raja in Head Bush, has signed another film. Titled Kream, the women-centric film is a social thriller and features Samyukta Hegde in the lead role.
Recalling his journey into films, Roshan says, “Even in my wildest dreams, I never thought I would venture into acting. In 2015, I started an academy in Bengaluru to train athletes. I have trained several athletes like Veda Krishnamurthy, Sharath Srinivas and Radha Rakshitha for years. I am an extremely camera-shy person and wouldn’t even want to pose for shutterbugs with my star students. During the shoot for Head Bush, I was training Dhananjaya. I was not involved in the film in any other way. Upon my uncle (Agni Sreedhar’s) suggestion, I agreed to do the role of KK Raja. Initially, my role was very limited. But, he liked my persona so much that he made me be a part of the entire film. That kind of gave me some confidence.”
“Soon after, he approached me for a pivotal role in Kream. I play the role of an aghori. Agni sir is known for picking the right talent and making them do magical things! Also, Kream has nothing to do with the underworld – his forte. I took it up as a challenge on his suggestion. I play an important role that changes the course of Samyukta’s character’s journey,” he added.
Speaking about his future plans, Roshan says, “I will try to involve myself in uncle’s production as much as I can. But my students and coaching will always be my priority.”
