Rona set to take viewers to a village ‘scarred by secrets’

At a time when belief can both heal and destroy, Rona “unfolds in a village scarred by secrets where the revival of a sacred fair after years of silence stirs buried grief and old rivalries,” reveals debutant director K Satish Kumar of his film that releases today, November 7, under the banner of BKR Productions. The film stars Raghu Raja Nanda and Prakruthi Prasad, alongside Sharath Lohitashwa, Bala Rajwadi and K S Sridhar. “This film marks the debut for both me and Raghu, the lead actor. I wanted a script that would showcase strong performances while keeping viewers hooked throughout,” says Satish, adding that the film was shot over 65 days around Hoskote. “At its heart, Rona is a coming-of-age story for all audiences,” Satish says, adding, “With OTT changing viewing habits, people want fast-paced, fresh stories. This film delivers exactly that, as it’s a political thriller that never lets up.”
