Kannada filmmaker and actor Rockline Venkatesh hospitalized

Producer and actor Rockline Venkatesh has been admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru. He has been treated by his son Abhilash, who is a doctor.
There are speculations that since Rockline Venkatesh was with Sumalatha Ambareesh who was tested positive for Coronavirus he might have been infected by the virus. Rockline Venkatesh and Sumalatha had met Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa for the purpose of construction of the Ambareesh memorial in June last week.According to sources, the health condition of Rockline Venkatesh is stable. The doctors are yet to confirm whether he has tested Coronavirus positive or not.
Rockline Venkatesh is known to produce big budget films. He is also very close to late actor Ambareesh's family. He stood by Sumalatha Ambareesh, when she contested Lok Sabha elections from Mandya last year. Rockline is producing the Darshan starrer historical drama Rajaveera Madakari Nayaka which is based on the palegars of Chitradurga. The shoot of the movie was supposed to be held this year, but it has been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Rockline started his career by playing supporting and negative roles during the initial stages. He has acted in movies like Snehada Kadalali, Ananda Jyothi, Police Story, Agni IPS, Dakota Express, Kamannana Makalu, Police Story 2, Killing Veerappan, Naachiyaar and 8MM Bullet. His last produced movie in Kannada to hit screens is Natasaravabhowma. Apart from Kannada, he has also produced movies in Tamil, Tamil and Hindi. In January 2017, Rockline announced his first film in Malayalalm which had Mohan Lal and Manju Warrier in lead roles.
