Rockline Venkatesh got discharged from hospital; recovering at a resort

Kannada producer-actor Rockline Venkatesh, who tested Coronavirus-positive recently, has been discharged from the hospital. After being detected with the virus in the third week of July, he was admitted in a private hospital in Bengaluru, where he was being attended to by his son, Abhilash.
According to reports, Venkatesh is now being shifted to a resort in Devanahalli, where he’ll be completing the mandatory quarantine period. Apparently, it was decided to not take him home as a precautionary measure, so that his family members, including grandchildren, don’t get infected.

Meanwhile, another Sandalwood film producer, Sandesh Nagaraj, has also tested positive for Coronavirus. He is currently being treated in a private hospital in Mysuru.

Recently, MP and actress Sumalatha Ambareesh; actor Dhruva Sarja and his wife Prerana recovered from the viral disease. Venkatesh is known for his films like

Bajarangi Bhaiijaan

and Lingaa. He started his career by playing supporting roles and negative characters. He has acted in movies like Snehada Kadalali, Ananda Jyothi, Police Story, Agni IPS, Dakota Express, Kamannana Makalu, Police Story 2, Killing Veerappan, Naachiyaar and 8MM Bullet. His latest Kannada film to hit the theatres is Natasaravabhowma. His next movie is a historical project, titled

Rajaveera Madakari Nayaka

, which will see Darshan playing the role of Madakari Nayaka. It is based on the palegars of Chitradurga. Being directed by Rajendra Singh Babu, shooting for the movie has been postponed because of the surge in the number of Coronavirus cases.
