Rishi’s next is a film for everyone: Devaraj R

When Devaraj R collaborated with Janardhan Chikkanna to make Gultoo, along with Prashant Reddy S, he was struck by the uniqueness of the subject. And with the film doing well at the box office, he was keen to work with Janardhan again. So, there was no second thought for him when the director had another script. “When Gultoo released, one of the feedbacks that we got was that it catered only to the multiplex crowd, or the class audience, as we’d say.So, for our second film, we wanted to ensure that we present something for everyone, and with Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakaasha we have attempted just that. This film has a nice mix of comedy, drama, romance, action, etc.,” says Devaraj, who has produced the film along with Prashant and Janardhan, as part of Dhruva Tara Films and 768 Films. The film, which stars Rishi and Dhanya Balakrishna in the lead, is slated to release in nearly 100 centres across the state on Friday.
