Rishi teams up with Nandish for action drama

Actor Rishi is set to collaborate with director K S Nandish for a bi-lingual film which is being made in both Kannada and Tamil languages. Nandish had previously directed Dear Vikram which had Sathish Ninasam in the lead role.
Speaking to a leading entertainment daily, Rishi has said that he is looking forward to portraying action avatar which he wanted to explore for a long time and the core of the film connects to the current times.
The team will reveal more details about the title of the film and rest of the star cast in the first week of June along with the muhurtha. Rishi’s last release was Nodi Swamy Ivanu Irode Heege, which was released on OTT got good response from critics and audiences alike as the subject touches upon suicidal tendencies. He was also seen in a camo in Thurthu Nirgamana as Vikram.
Rishi was recently on a vacation in Japan with his wife Swathi will be now immersed with a new project. He also has Ramana Avatara and Seere in the pipeline. He is likely to have couple of releases this year.
In an interview with us, Rishi sharing thoughts about OTT, had said, "Unlike cinema, web series is a completely different format. It is more or less like shooting three cinemas at once. The quality of web series has gone up in the last couple of years, but I can say that the era has just begun and we still have a long way to go.”
