As his debut directorial, Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakaasha, opens in theatres today, Anoop Ramaswamy Kashyap is excited and intrigued about how audiences will take to it. For starters, he is very confident about the content of the
Rishi and
Dhanya Balakrishna starrer, because it has been written by
Janardhan Chikkanna (director of Gultoo) and Hari Krishna. The film, he says, cannot be classified into one particular genre, considering that it has all elements, except horror in it, making it a film that will appeal to all audiences.
“Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakaasha is a story that unfolds over two days, when the lead pair is put in a situation that requires them to make a lot of money in a very short time. The catch, though, is that Rishi is only an MBA student in the film, and Dhanya his college sweetheart. How he uses his wit to get out of this situation forms the central plot of the film, and the best part is that all of this is told with situational comedy,” says Anoop, about the film that has been produced by Devaraj R, along with Prashant Reddy and Janardhan Chikkanna, as part of Dhruvatara Films and 768 Films.
