Richa Gangopadhyay's hotel hungama
Richa Gangopadhyay is infuriated, courtesy the reports doing the rounds that she created a scene at a star hotel in Chennai over her 'good friend' Sunder Ramu, her co-star in her maiden Tamil film Mayakkam Enna.
Apparently, Richa had asked the hotel authorities to provide a single room for Sunder and her, on the pretext that they had some work together. But when the hotel authorities refused, she reportedly picked a fight with them and then walked out of the hotel.

When we asked Richa about the incident, the actor says, 'It's my personal life and no one has the right to misconstrue information from unreliable sources and take it out of context.' What happened at the hotel? 'There was no scene made at any hotel. I reached the place late that night just before the promotion of my latest Tamil release opposite Simbu, and we were sorting out some billing issues. My production unit was not reachable at that time. The only connection Sunder had with this incident was that he had come to hand over some high-resolution images of my portfolio,' she says. Commenting on her relationship with Sunder, Richa adds, 'Sunder and I have become great friends since Mayakkam Enna, but there is nothing more than that.'
