For a new filmmaker, finding someone to back a project can be difficult. But director Girish G actually managed to find over 20 like-minded people who found his story — an

anthology

of five

horror

tales called

Ondu Kathe Hella

— interesting.
Produced by Petas Cine Café, the film, which stars a bunch of newbies, releases today and the highlight, Girish says, is the fact that it is a compilation of real-life inspired tales that can be watched by all audiences. Unfolding in chapter format, the characters present a tale in a different emotion in each of them, including desire, greed, etc. “The stories are not interlinked, and yet have a connect, thanks to a rooster that leads the protagonists in a wrong direction,” says Girish, who also plays a pivotal role in one of the tales.

Bhaktha Prahlada

is not staged anymore, especially in rural areas of the state. The reasons will be an eye opener for audiences,” he says.
