She has been the silent force behind not just Sandalwood's premier film family but also a strong female voice in the industry who showed that a woman can be one of the best producers in the Indian film industry, carving a distinct place for herself in an otherwise male dominated field with her sharp business acumen.

In her career as a producer that spanned many decades, Parvathamma had produced as many as 80 films, almost all of them being big money spinners.
