An edge-of-the-seat entertainer

Every time actor Tilak Shekar speaks about his next release, Karvva, which opens in theatres today, there is a sense of immense satisfaction and pride in his voice. Produced by Sri Swarnalatha Productions, the makers of the sleeper hit 6-5=2, Karvva, Tilak says, is a start-to-finish entertainer.
'I value people's money and time, and with Karvva, I can confidently say that they will get their money's worth of entertainment and will not be bored even for a minute.The film is a team effort, and we have made a very conscious effort to ensure that the movie does not disappoint,' says the actor.
Directed by Navaneeth, the film also stars Rohit, Anu Poovamma, Anisha Ambrose and veteran actor Devaraj in pivotal roles. 'Navaneeth has very cleverly married two distinct genres ' thriller and horror ' to make a film on which we have made no compromises, especially in terms of production quality. Every scene is so crucial that if you miss one, you will miss the plot. We set out to make an edge-of-the-seat entertainer and believe that we have been able to deliver on that,' says Tilak.
For the team of Karvva, the script is, no doubt, the hero of the film. But Tilak adds that when it comes to horror, music plays an equally important role. 'We do our job, but it is the music that enhances our performances. In that sense, music director Ravi Basrur is truly the hero of this film,' he says, adding that the cinematography by Mohan, will surely get him noticed.
