Dr Rajkumar was one of the well-known actors in Sandalwood, who has acted in more than 200 movies. He was not only an actor but a great singer as well. Dr Rajkumar started his career from a drama company and started his career with the movie ‘Bedara Kannappa’. Dr Rajkumar’s real name is Singanalluru Puttaswamayya Mutthuraju which he changed to Rajkumar after entering the film industry.

Dr Vishnuvardhan is yet another superstar in the Kannada film industry, who has played various roles and gave his best performances right from ‘Naagarahaavu’ to ‘Aptharakshaka’. Vishnuvardhan was a multi-language star who acted in Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and other languages too. Sampath Kumar is the real name of Vishnuvardhan which, after his first movie, was changed to Vishnuvardhan before he made his debut as a lead in ‘Naagarahaavu’.

Shivarajkumar's original name is Nagaraju Shiva Puttaswamy. He is the son of the great legend, Dr Rajkumar. He started his career in Kannada film industry from the movie ‘Anand’ (1986) directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao. ‘Ratha Saptami’, ‘Janumada Jodi’, ‘Om’, ‘Nammoora Mandara Hoove’, ‘AK 47’, ‘Jogi’, ‘Bajarangi’, ‘Killing Veerappan’ and ‘Shivlinga’ are some of the major hits in the career of Shivarajkumar.

Darshan Thoogudeep is known as a Challenging Star in Kannada film industry. Darshan is known for his mass and class actions in the movie. He is a son of famous Kannada villain Thoogudeep who entered the industry when he was quite young and then went on to become a superstar in the Kannada film industry. His original was name was Hemanth Kumar which was later changed to Darshan for the movies.

Yash is a young superstar in Sandalwood, who started his career through the small screen. He made his debut on the big screen from the movie ‘Janumada Hudugi’. His original name is Naveen Kumar Gowda which was later changed to Yash before entering the film industry.

Jaggesh is one of the best comedians in Sandalwood. He is called as ‘Navarasa Nayaka’ in Sandalwood. ‘Navarasa’ means the amalgamation of nine emotions in a human being. Jaggesh, who entered film industry as an assistant director, made his acting debut in the year 1982 from the movie ‘Ibbani Karagithu’. Jaggesh’s real name is Eshware Gowda and he changed his name for the silver screen to Jaggesh.
